REAL WORLD TRAIN WRECK

I "just happened to be watching" this week's episode of The Real World Hollywood and I it got very uncomfortable watching Joey's downward alcoholic spiral. The all night drinking binge felt very exploitive of this guy's obvious serious drinking issues. I almost turned it off....but after the prolonged drinking scenes, the producers of the show did step in and offer to take him to a 30 day rehab program. Luckily he accepted and admitted his problems.

I guess it is good for young viewers to see his downfall and rescue as a warning and lesson. But the show did straddle the fence a little between exploitation and responsibility in my opinion.
