Oddly enough it seems like progress that there are no gay house-mates among the chosen seven on this season's REAL WORLD - HOLLYWOOD. From the beginning of the show it seemed like there was always one token gay in the bunch. It became sort of cliche every season.
The Hollywood house is apparently a gay-free zone and maybe that is a sign that we have evolved beyond being used just for token representation. Judging from the sexed crazed alcoholics in this cast, I am actually glad that we are not represented.
